Whether you are dealing with the loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, a home, confidence, grief and loss is inevitable. We cannot go over it, under it, or around it – we have to go through it, irrespective of the length of time this process takes. Loss changes each one of us and grieving helps us to redefine or restructure ourselves and our lives to accommodate it.
Grief counselling offers people the opportunity to face their loss within a supportive environment in order to begin or continue through the grieving process. We naturally move in and out of the various stages of grief. What is important though; is that we allow ourselves to do this to avoid issues around complicated grief.
